Bio

Elisha Fields, “When I began studying art full time, I wanted to know everything.  I wanted to know how to use as many mediums as I could, as well as subject matter, but at heart, I am an abstract expressionist which I think shows up in all my subject matter."

Rhythm and movement often appear in the works of Elisha Fields which manifest her personal experience as both artist and musician, as well as her heritage of generations of visual and performing artists.

While living in the Caribbean Islands for almost 10 years Elisha created decorative fabrics for individuals, boutiques and hotels.  She managed an art gallery, supply and framing store in the West Indies where she discovered acrylic paints and came to love their versatility and durability.

Elisha is the creator of the new drawing tool: www.SketchGenie.com  and has recently published an art book with much information for artists and non-artists about modern art history, art in general and what lead her to Chiselism.  www.Chiselism.com
